Silver: A Welsh witch shifts her form frequently into that of a hare, and while in this formno shot, except a silver coin can penetrate her body. (RHYS, C.F., p. 294.) Silver Fish: A kind of insect or book-worm. In China it is believed that if this insect getsinside a Taoist Classic and eats certain characters, its silvery body will become fivecoloured.
